Karol Zammit embarked on his musical journey at very young age, initially studying piano and music theory at the then Johann Strauss School of Music. He would conclude his studies there in 2022, attaining a Grade 8 in Music Theory with distinction whilst he concurrently excelled with the flute under the tutelage of Mro Silvio Zammit, attaining Grade 8 with distinction (ABRSM).
He later continued his studies with Yvette Grixti, Karol would enjoy great success, winning the Junior Cup at the 2017 Maltese Islands Festival. He would eventually earn his ATCL diploma in piano performance and later, in 2021, his LTCL diploma with distinction.
In 2022, Mr Zammit showcased his talent at the Malta Spring Festival and took part in prestigious international pianoforte masterclasses at St Mary's Music School in Edinburgh as well as at the Frederico Cesi festival in Trevi, Italy, receiving commendation for his virtuosic performances.
He would go on to refine his talents abroad, receiving guidance from renowned pianists such as Prof. Patrizia Gallo and Luciano Cerroni. He also took part in masterclasses led by Charlene Farrugia, Anne Lise Gastaldi, Dr Milica Laurence and Helena Buckmayer.
Karol is currently studying at the Conservatoire royal de Bruxelles, under the tutelage of Valentina Igoshina where he currently holds the post of choir director of the White Spirits Gospel Choir.
